Cylas is a Hong Kong-born picture book illustrator currently based in Cambridge. Before pursuing an MA in Children’s Book Illustration at Cambridge School of Art, he published his first picture book Oh Yeah! in Hong Kong.

Inspired by nature and overlooked world, his work combines layered processes with a raw but gentle visual language, often exploring subtle and sensitive themes. He enjoys working across both digital and traditional media, and is currently experimenting with printmaking techniques including screen printing, and mono print.
